Mission Statement

Music has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember.  In my teaching studio I am dedicated to sharing my love for creating music and finding the right musical path for each student.  I believe that every person should have the opportunity to learn an instrument, learn the musical language, and discover how exciting and fun it is to play!  I accept students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities and work with you/your child’s interests and musical desires to design a lesson that fulfills your individual goals and provides you/your child with a balanced musical background.  Lessons with me include learning music theory, history, sight-reading, as well as important fundamental technical skills.   The majority of my students have been between 5-16 years old.  The dedication, concentration, and creativity that goes into learning an instrument I believe has been a positive impact on these children’s lives, helping them to gain confidence, focus, and develop a beautiful outlet for expressing themselves.
